I like gadgets a lot. If I could buy a new gadget every day, I would. Recently, I have had a number of people ask me what phone they should buy. That is a really tough question to ask without knowing more about the person, their needs, their current carrier, and their willingness to dish out money for a new phone. All of that being said, I have tried to condense my own internal logic into a set of steps that other can use (or criticize) when making a phone purchase decision.

People I Know…
Every now and then it is nice to stop and reflect about the people we come across in every day life while working. A number of people who I know are workign on pretty cool and interesting things and I figured I would just take a post to document some of the cool things that people I know are working on. Here goes.
Random Microsoft Musing
When the next set of Internet business histories gets published, I think that a lot of people are going to look at the time period between 2000 and 2005 and conclude that it was a really important time for the development of Internet businesses. Yahoo! successfully re-established its cool and remade itself as a media company. Google emerged as a powerhouse. AskJeeves somehow made itself relevant again. eBay just kept growing and growing. And AOL continued to slide. Who’s missing from this account? Microsoft.
