I work with <a href="http://Salesforce.com">Salesforce.com</a> and now the Google Apps suite because of the collaboration. I've even been getting into the Google Data Toolkit for <a href="http://Force.com">Force.com</a>, trying to create some of these automations that you describe. It's tough work and very specific.
