That's your only beef? It's a great device, huh?

I generally find the phone interface to be clunky. It's kind of a pain to
navigate when you have calls on hold. Also, it feels like the UI really
slows down when you're trying to handle a call and navigate to other
applications.

My biggest beef is the way that it asks you to add contacts. It's too many
keystrokes and too much data entry to just add someone to the address book.
And having a button called "Revert" is really confusing - I just want to see
save and undo.

Overall, it's a great phone and a worthy blackberry alternative. But it
still has its quirks.

So I broke down and bought the Nexus One. I love it except for a few quirks.(My wife calls it my mistress because I constantly rave about it.). The one huge beef I have with it is when I'm invited to a conference call I can't dial out from the meeting invite. Especially if the phone number is in the location field. It also doesn't recognize numbers like this 877-555-1212×1234 or 877-555-1212,1234 where the x or “,” designate a pause. If you create a contact and put in the pause, it works great but how many conference calls do you save the number to in your contact list?

I think you might be pleasantly surprised by how much you like the Nexus One
if you really live in Google Apps. The browser is also way better than
anything I've seen on the Blackberry.

Charles, I'm seriously debating on getting a Nexus to replace my blackberry. I currently live in Google. I use Google Apps at work. I've been hemming & hawing primarily because from what I hear, it doesn't have voice dialing via bluetooth. If I have to press 5 buttons to get to a point where I can voice dial, or hold down a button on my phone to do so (or answer a call), bluetooth is useless to me. I ride a motorcycle and the one thing I love on my blackberry is I can press the headset button and get the prompt to make a call either by saying a name or saying a number. Having to hold down a button is impossible under these conditions and just as dangerous while driving…. Although I have been guilty of DWT on numerous occasions.
