Highly recommend TouchDown http://holydroid.com, an email/calendar/contacts/tasks/notes sync client to replace the respective native apps on Android. If you use Exchange, it's almost a necessity, though it also works well with google on the backend.nnFeatures include voice transcription when authoring emails, which works amazingly well, and email announce (reads to you who it's from and subj line).

Having bought and lived with my nexus one now for a while can say. Its no blackberry & definitely no iPhone. Some gripes I've had have been rectified by the Android 2.2 update but they still haven't fixed my biggest annoyance... the calendar. You can't modify a calendar item sent to you. You can't accept a calendar appointment from email and you can't dial a phone number when its placed in the location field of a calendar item. The map application opens instead. Just as annoying, a calendar item may appear on your calendar but you wont get an alert unless you say you're attending the event. See point#1 about being unable to accept an appointment from email. So you to manually track down said appointment, open it and choose "yes" or no alert. My last calendar gripe & I'll shut up is that you can't choose "agenda" as your default and it sometimes will go back to the beginning of the week when you open the calendar or try to create an appointment. OK,that was two things. I'll stop noe
