I'm a beta user. I've only answered questions, haven't asked any. I like the concept but as of now virtually every question I've received could have been answered via Google, Wikipedia or Yelp. I almost feel like responding to each question with this link. Maybe there's some value in question answering as a social activity, and perhaps there is some class of questions that would be better answered in this way, and the service / community will evolve in that direction. But from my experience so far I don't see this as fulfilling a need that couldn't be better met in some other way.n

Hey Charles, thanks for the great writeup! Glad you're finding Aardvark useful, and I appreciate the ideas for ways we could use the database of questions and answers.
We see Aardvark as network- and channel-agnostic -- it's an open tool that lets you tap the latent value in your existing network (on Facebook, MySpace, etc.) through your existing communication channels (IM, email, Twitter, mobile). So we're working on extending support on both of those fronts. As far as your idea for how Twitter might do this, we're currently working on an integration so you can use Aardvark through Twitter.
Let me know if there's anything you'd want to change, things you particularly like, etc. Feedback is hugely helpful. Thanks!
-Rob, asst. curator of birds @ the mechanical zoo
