I like all the other changes and I would like to appreciate the improvements. I impressed by the innovation, without gimmicks. I will think about this site's offers.
Well it is nice to post here.
güzel sözler I like this site.

Hi Charles, I may have waded in to deep waters here. I am a real estate Broker that is several months into my social media education. You refer to 'using' linkedIn and facebook. I have accounts on both, but aside from setting up a basic profile, I haven't really found the way to 'use' them. I suspect I just haven't 'gotten it' yet, but is the value really to go recruit all my friends and business associates to tell my daily (hourly) view on things? My daughter uses facebook socially for just that purpose (she loves it and I get that)...but where is the big value professionally. In particular what is the value to all those without a business motive?

If you wish to refer me to a more remedial forum on the subject, I'll understand.

Joe,

I agree about keeping the graphs separate. I'm all for that.

I totally hear you on the simple CRM piece - why they won't tackle that is beyond me. Perhaps the new API will enable someone else (Salesforce?) to build a decent CRM product that leverages LinkedIn data. And that works on mobile.

I want to keep my social graphs separate, I don't my business contacts to know about how much I partied on St. Patrick's day. I also don't think my personal friends/friendsters are interested in some of the goings on in the business world.

I actually like keeping these as separate physical websites. I never thought that Facebook did a particularly good job keeping my groups in a walled garden. With their privacy changes, I'm not interested in taking the chance that any cracks in the wall would make it easier for "worlds to collide"

My frustration with LinkedIn is that they don't do a good enough job making themselves my default address book for business contacts. Incorporating simple CRM features ala Highrise and good coupling with other address books including offline ones would give me additional reasons to seek contacts through LinkedIn.

Excellent post, Charles. I had also posted about an idea for LinkedIn to utilize a virtual currency model like Facebook, to increase user engagement and participation.

I hear the same opinion everywhere - LinkedIn is just sitting on a gold mine and not doing anything about it.
